As we step into a world where technology intimately understands you, our commitment is to make every interaction more insightful, efficient, and uniquely tailored to your tasks. Let's unlock the full potential of what Personal AI can do, together. Welcome aboard!
Our latest UI overhaul puts user and enterprise experience at the forefront. We've simplified complex processes, reducing the number of clicks required for common tasks. The new layout prioritizes clarity, with a cleaner design that minimizes clutter and highlights essential features. We've greatly enhanced accessibility features, ensuring the platform is more inclusive for users with diverse needs. Check out our video overview below!
Our home page includes a more clear user roadmap with the personas aligned differently beneath the “My AI” tab. We found that messaging personas directly versus messaging them in lounges got a bit confusing, therefore we implemented a new hover over feature to message your personas directly on the home page. Here is where you can also navigate to the training journey in the persona settings.
We have also moved the memory options to its own tab. Here is where you can find all of the same memory functionality from our old platform along with a set of training resources below it, which users now have the ability to access inside our platform, all in one place.
“Chats” and “Lounges” have now been renamed to DMs and Channels respectively. Here you will have all of your direct messages and channels in one place.
The “plus” button right above your profile picture in the bottom left hand corner of the interface will now give you the option to either create a new DM, a new Channel, or a new persona.
You may also notice the “AI Tools” tab underneath Messages is currently unavailable as we are testing a wide variety of different internal training automations and data optimization tools. We plan to launch a whole new training interface that brings a much easier, user-friendly experience for training your AI.
As previously mentioned in last week’s newsletter, Q2 at Personal AI was dedicated to making our customer and user experience the best we possibly could. Selena de Leon, our UX Designer and Researcher, met with a variety of our enterprise customers as well as personal plan users. She found the following core ideas of our user experience that the product team focused on when creating our new UI:
1. Our research has identified several key user confusion points, including the concept of Total Memories, the layout and purpose of the landing page, the AI training status and process, and the nature and customization of personas.
2. Users have expressed clear learning preferences, showing a strong desire for dedicated training resources, a preference for easy explanations and clear visuals, and an appreciation for both video and written documentation when learning to use new products.
3. In terms of UI/UX preferences, users responded positively to the purple Call-To-Action for "Create My AI," expressed a dislike for hidden features, and emphasized the need for a consistent interface with a clear purpose.
4. Regarding user progression, our findings highlight users' goals to become intermediate-level users and their requirement for a structured learning path to achieve this.
5. We've identified key areas for improvement, including the need for greater clarity on complex concepts like Total Memories and Personas, improved visibility of AI training status, better accessibility of features and learning resources, and an enhanced user onboarding and progression experience.
6. Potential solutions to address these issues include redesigning the landing page for clarity, creating a comprehensive Learning Center, implementing clear AI training indicators, and developing a user progression roadmap.
7. Our next steps for research involve conducting usability testing of the proposed solutions, carrying out in-depth interviews on user learning preferences, and analyzing user progression data to further refine our approach.
